Ingredient:
Milk thistle dry extract (Extractum Fructus Silybum marianum siccum) (35-50:1) 163.6-225mg equivalent to Silymarin 90mg calculated as Silibinin
Point:
Carsil is a medicine containing the active ingredient silymarin, isolated from the fruit of the milk thistle plant.Silymarin activates protein and phospholipid synthesis in damaged liver cells, stabilizes cell membranes, binds free radicals (antioxidant effect), thus protecting from harmful effects on liver cells and supporting their recovery.
Carsil is used in:
toxic liver damage;
post-hepatitis conditions;
chronic hepatitis of non-viral origin;
fatty degeneration of the liver;
in a complex therapy of cirrhosis;
for the prevention of liver damage with prolonged drug intake, alcohol, chronic intoxication (including professional).
Dosage:
Adults and children over 12 years old
Treatment of severe liver damage begins at 1 tablet 3 times/day.
In less severe cases, the average dosage is 1 tablet 1-2 times a day.
To prevent chemical poisoning – 1-2 tablets per day.
Treatment continues for at least 3 months.
